Who you are? - A student looking for a one-of-a-kind engineering experience - Have a taste for distributed systems in the cloud - Comfortable expressing yourself in an OOP or functional programming language (eg: C, C++, Java, C#, Go, JS, Elixir, Rust, etc) - Comfortable with modeling problems in OOP - Familiar with the usage and reason of work for data structures (List, Set, Map, Tree, Graphs) - Able to identify time and space complexity for solutions - Previous technical internship is preferable, just to have a smooth deep dive into the diversity of technicalities
What will you do? - Learn technologies - Code new features/enhancements in our product under the guidance of a mentor - Learn code review practices - Ship your implementations to production under the guidance of a mentor - Be a fully-fledged team member during the summertime - What would you get? - Your features or enhancements delivered in production - Gain applied software development life cycle experience, how software is developed for a product built of multiple projects - Become familiar with tools like Jira, Github, Kubernetes, Kibana, Spinnaker - Become a knowledgeable engineer on Elixir(certainly), Go(probably), Rust(probably) - Gain code review experience - Upgraded debugging skills - Experience with software development methodologies - Have contact with all 3 cloud providers AWS, GCP, Azure
