About this opportunity

As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the creation and maintenance of our solution (IoT Accelerator) in the Applications landscape, be involved in all phases of the software development and maintenance lifecycle, and work towards accurately engineered information systems, containing software as the major component.

What you will do

• Be part of the digital revolution in the IoT domain within a talented young team;
• Be responsible for Application Support activity on Owned Software applications;
• Develop and configure software components;
• Deploy acceptance and execution;
• Steadfast drive for efficiency, improvements, and automation, excellence in service delivery;
• Offer consultancy and expertise on the solution provided to other internal groups

You will bring

• Basic knowledge/awareness of at least 2 of the following technologies:Web Servers, Application Servers and Middleware applications (Kafka, JBoss, Tomcat, Switchyard, Oracle WEB Logic), JSON, Web Services and API’s (Rest, Soap), LDAP, Docker, and Kubernetes;
• Basic knowledge of Oracle/SQL/Database programming
• Basic knowledge Unix/Linux
• Knowledge of English spoken and written at a level sufficient to manage relationships with colleagues and corporate organizations with which it is connected.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of designing and/or testing software applications;
• Java programming language;
• Basic scripting knowledge (Perl/Shell);
• Virtualization and cloud concepts;
• Big Data and Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning / Deep Learning concepts.
