About this opportunity
As a customer-focused IP engineer, you will implement PS and IP requests on our IoT Platform for large telecom customers around the world.
What you will do
- Plan and implement Core Packet Switch and IP network equipment configurations on Ericsson M2M platform, according to specific customer requirements.
- Support test, acceptance, and fault management activities.
- IP network operation & troubleshooting (Firewalls, Routers, Switches, EPG, IPSEC, DNS)
- Method of Procedure (MoP) documentation & implementation (e.g. updates, upgrades & migrations)
- Be involved in the system/function verification and support activities.
To be successful in your role:
- Studying a Bachelor/Master of Science in Telecommunication/IT/Network Engineering or relevant experience
- Familiar with TCP/IP & awareness of routing protocols e.g. OSPF, BGP, VRRP
- Familiar with Firewall Access Lists & Security principles (confidentiality, integrity, authentication)
- Solid grasp of UNIX and/or LINUX
- Be proficient in written and spoken English
#It would be a plus if you have: * CCNA/JNCIA * CompTIA Security+ * Awareness/knowledge of VPN concept
