Softbinator Technologies is looking for motivated students who want to start their careers as Backend Software Engineers. Requirements for a NodeJS Engineer:

Must have:

• Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript;
• Experience with building web APIs, protocols like HTTP, REST;
• Have some experience working with SQL and NoSQL data stores;
• Are used to working with code versioning tools like Git in a continuous delivery process;
• Building and handling asynchronous and event-driven workflows;
• Being passionate, self-driven and working with little supervision towards a common team or company purpose.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express
• Know about service oriented architectures, design patterns and data structures;
• Frontend experience (preferably on React)
• Interested in using cloud platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure;
• Interested in working with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban;
• Care about all the steps your code goes through from your machine to production and know about or are curious of technologies like containers;
