Machine Learning Internship

A Day at FotoNation as a Machine Learning Intern

You will be responsible to:

• Research and develop next generation algorithms in the area of Computer Vision and Machine Learning
• Work in an agile project team close to product and customer stakeholders
• Receive weekly guidance from your dedicated technical mentor
• Explore the state of the art and thoroughly understand scientific papers
• Develop your code in Python using common frameworks and libraries PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib
• Integrate your work in a business relevant solution
• Share your findings and progress with the whole engineering team
• Access company resources for compute power, task management, wiki and code versioning

Key Skills

• Software development experience in Python (including debugging and tracing) and optionally in C/C++
• Experience with any of the Deep Learning development tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Caffe
• Good understanding of the mathematical principles of machine learning
• Self-driven, team player and focused on problem solving
• Fluent in English
