Job description:
This summer practice position is further split in the following sub-domains across different departments, depending on your experience & desired growth path:
Software/Firmware career path: developing IC embedded firmware, microcontroller/DSP embedded software or graphical user interface software according to a set of requirements, while ensuring the quality of your deliverable by implementing various types of tests (unit tests, integration tests, manual testing etc.)
Concept Engineering career path: IC development at architectural level by providing model-based proof of concept & feasibility studies on various blocks (eg. Filters, signal paths, AD/DA converter, DSPs etc.) and mitigating measurement errors.
You are best equipped for this role if you are in the third year of studies of Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a similar field; You have basic knowledge or interest in:
Software & electronics basics curricula (eg. Digital integrated circuits, analog integrated circuits, signals and systems, microprocessor architectures & microcontrollers, object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms)
Simulation & Modelling tooling (eg. Matlab/Simulink)
You are a Software oriented person, but still have a deep hardware understanding in the field of microcontrollers & peripherals.
Independent working style as well as enjoy collaboration on different tasks within the scope of integrated circuit design;
Good command of the English language.

The Summer Practice at Infineon is organized between 26th of June – 1st of September (10 weeks)
