We started out in 2015 as ING’s software development hub – a distinct entity from ING Bank Romania – then steadily expanded our range to include more services and competencies.

Now we provide borderless services with bank-wide capabilities and operate from two locations: Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca.

About {Dev}School

{Dev}School is all about developing your DevOps skills in an intense and fun learning experience. During this training:

You’ll get hands-on experience working with Git, Bash, Python, Pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes; You will learn how to automatize recurring tasks that are now made manually by the Ops team. If you successfully complete the training programme, you could put your skills at work in our DevOps Teams in ING Hubs.

Here are the logistical details:

You will be part of a team of 10-15 students The learning experience will last 8 weeks, between 27 August – 10 October, 2024 The program is organized in 2 sessions / week (Tuesday and Thursday evenings) Each session will last 3 hours and will take place on-site, at ING Hubs’ office (you will need to bring with you a laptop with administrator rights) What we are looking for in {Dev}School

We welcome any IT passionate who is:

A student in final study year or a recent graduate (2 years max, Bachelor or Master) of Computer Science/Cybernetics University; A good team player and a logical thinker, who has a good eye for details; …and who has Knowledge about Unix-based operating systems; Basic knowledge of cloud concepts; Is familiar with languages used for scripting and automation; Good command of English. These are the things that will count in deciding whether we work together after the programme:

Your Progress – the trainer’s positive feedback on your class interactions and attendance; Your Results - very good technical results during the training programme; Your Interest and Availability to work full-time/part-time (flexible work schedule). * Recruiting Process Timeline:

You can apply until the 30th of July, 2024; If your CV is selected, you will participate in an online technical testing phase between the 2nd – 5th of August; If you pass the testing phase, you will participate in an interview scheduled by us somewhere between 9th – 21st of August; The selected top 10-15 students will start their {Dev}School adventure on the 27th of August.
