About Lenovo Summer Internship Program:
We are inviting students to join our team for a paid Summer Internship Program, kicking off on July 1st. You will have a full-time flexible schedule and company benefits offering a complete Lenovo Employee Experience.
Interns will engage in 3-month projects, collaborating on end-to-end tasks that fuel creativity and innovation, whilst gaining hands-on experience as a Software Engineer, starting with design and architecture, and progressing through testing to implementation. You will receive training, guidance, and mentoring from our local and global experts, supported by tools and learning platforms.
Upon completion of the Internship, you will have the opportunity to present your masterpiece to Lenovo’s Management Team, showcasing your technical abilities.
Participants in the Summer Internship Program may also be considered for a full-time position or an extended Internship throughout the year.
Project overview:
During the internship program, you will work on developing a new feature for an existing project (Lenovo XClarity One), starting with the design and architecture to test and implementation. XClarity One (XC1) is Lenovo's centralized management platform for hybrid cloud environments. It provides unified control over Lenovo and multi-vendor infrastructure, offering automation, monitoring, and analytics for both on-premises and cloud resources. It simplifies IT operations, enhances visibility, and supports scalability in complex data center environments.
In this position, you will:
- Develop great Front-End features
- Learn and improve your coding skills (we don’t expect you to come with a lot of experience, but we will make sure that you’ll gain it)
- Follow a continuous “everything” approach (development, testing integration and deployment)
- Work with real data center equipment and cutting-edge technologies
Apply if you have:
- Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills
- Familiarity with modern front-end development frameworks (preferably Angular 16+)
- Basic knowledge of responsive design
- Good OOP understanding
- Experience with a source code control system, GIT is preferred
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills
Would be a plus:
- Experience with 3D rendering library (e.g. Three.js)
- Basic unit testing knowledge
- Good Computer Science fundamentals and algorithmic thinking

Those who successfully navigate the phone screening will be invited to the Lenovo office for an Assessment Center Day. At this event, participants will engage in various activities, meet the Lenovo Team and Technical Mentor, and attend final interviews.
