The Lenovo development team is seeking a highly motivated fresh graduate with knowledge regarding Node JS technologies.
The NodeJS developer is a critical member of Lenovo Software Development Organization. Your main responsibility is to develop and maintain features and functionalities that meet product requirements and reach a high-quality standard. You will be part of a mixed developers & testers scrum team working on a Data Center application that provides centralized management, monitoring, and analytics for environments with large numbers of devices: servers, storage, networking, and chassis.
In this position, you will:
- Write code according to team quality standards
- Work with real data center equipment and cutting-edge technologies
- Propose technical solutions and take part in discussions and design planning meetings
- Follow a continuous “everything” approach (development, testing integration, and deployment)
- Write clean and efficient APIs that does proper data validation
- Modify and improve existing legacy code in order to meet new requirements and use the newest technology
- Attend and actively participate in the scrum events within the team
Required skills and experience:
- Good Node JS knowledge
- Investigation and debugging skills
- Problem-solving and solution-oriented thinking
- Able and comfortable with working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong teamwork is essential.
- Good understanding of the lifecycle of a software development project
- BS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Excellent written and oral English communication are required
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes
- Some backend development experience
- Experience with a Node JS web application framework, preferably Express
- Experience with a source code control system, GIT is preferred
- Experience with Agile/Scrum framework
