The Software and Modeling Applications Team is looking for a new intern to support behavioral model development for the MPLAB® Mindi™ Analog Simulator. They will help with the design, implementation, validation, and tracking of the behavioral models, including laboratory work with modern tools to gather data for model development. They will benefit from on-the-job training and seminars to improve technical skills.
Job Description:
Learn how to develop SIMPLIS/SIMetrix/SPICE behavioral models for linear regulators, switch mode power supplies, and other product families Interpret datasheet information and take laboratory measurements to help model device behavior Assist with the modelling workflow, from specification to publication Learn power supply design by working alongside experts with decades of industry experience Assist with creating technical documentation and test reports
Requirements:
Student in the 3rd or 4th year in Automatics or Electronics and Telecommunication or Electrical Engineering Knowledge of analog and digital circuits, laboratory instrumentation (multimeters, oscilloscopes) Good knowledge of English and communications skills Ability to learn and adapt Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Desired skills/experience:
Previous experience with SIMPLIS/SIMetrix, PSPICE, LTspice, or TINA-TI is an advantage Knowledge of linear regulators and switch mode power supplies
