📍 Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team as a Junior Application Manager. In this role, you will support the management and optimization of our application portfolio, assist in cross-departmental collaboration, and gain hands-on experience in the lifecycle management of business-critical applications. This internship is ideal for individuals eager to learn about IT operations, project management, and application support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

🔍 What will you do?

• Application Support: Assist in the day-to-day management of software applications, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
• Project Coordination: Support project management efforts including scheduling, task tracking, and coordinating with various teams.
• Documentation: Help maintain accurate records, process documents, and user guides to support application management and troubleshooting.
• Issue Resolution: Collaborate with technical teams to monitor application performance and assist in resolving issues as they arise.
• Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java/Other Frameworks
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute ideas for enhancing application management practices.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure clear, effective communication regarding application functionality and updates.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs to ensure seamless integration with frontend applications.
• Design and maintain database structures, ensuring performance and security.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure smooth communication between the backend and frontend.
• Troubleshoot and debug backend-related issues.
• Use GitHub/Gitlab for version control and team collaboration.

🎯 What makes you a great fit?:

• You’re pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in CS, IT, or a related technical field.
• You’re comfortable working with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• You have a technical aptitude: basic understanding of software applications and IT systems.
• You could manage multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
• You have a solid understanding of RESTful API development and frontend-backend integration.
• You’re familiar with authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2) and version control tools like Git.
• You love solving complex problems and collaborating with a team.

✨ Bonus points if you:

• Analytical Skills: Experience with data analysis or reporting tools to support performance tracking.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Software Development Lifecycle: Basic knowledge of the SDLC and Agile methodologies. -IT Service Management: Exposure to ITSM frameworks or similar operational processes.
