📍 Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer Intern eager to learn how cloud infrastructure and deployment processes are managed. In this role, you will support the team in configuring environments, automating tasks, and participating in CI/CD workflows while gaining exposure to monitoring, containerization, and infrastructure management tools. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms, scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized applications, while learning best practices in DevOps and collaborating with experienced engineers.

🔍 What will you do?

• Develop knowledge of managing and configuring cloud infrastructure.

• Participate in environment setup and settings review while learning how cloud infrastructure is managed and provisioned, assist with basic environment configuration tasks, and become familiar with core working methodologies under guidance.

• Become familiar with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) workflows, such as GitLab CI, support the team in automating build and deployment processes, and, under the mentor's guidance, learn the department-specific business processes.

• Write simple scripts (shell/Python) to automate repetitive tasks and learning to use infrastructure automation tools.

• Follow the methods used by the mentor and team colleagues for managing business requirements.

• Participate in maintenance activities for monitoring and alerting systems and become familiar with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.

• Develop skills in managing containerized applications by supporting Docker-related tasks and observing Kubernetes workflows.

• Participate in team meetings, DevOps sessions, and code reviews to understand organizational culture and collaboration processes while contributing to internal documentation on processes, onboarding, and system configurations.

• Engage in continuous learning to strengthen skills and knowledge relevant to DevOps practices and team workflows.

🎯 What makes you a great fit?

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Basic understanding of Linux operating systems (command line navigation, file management, user permissions)

• Familiarity with at least one scripting language (Shell/Bash or Python)

• Foundational knowledge of networking concepts

• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git (branching, merging, pull/merge requests)

• Exposure to or interest in containerization technologies (Docker)

• Basic awareness of CI/CD concepts and how software is built, tested, and deployed

• Willingness to learn infrastructure automation tools and practices (Terraform, Ansible)

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Proactive attitude, curiosity, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced infrastructure environment

• Ability to document processes and procedures clearly
