Description

The Junior Project Manager Intern will support the PMO team in tracking and following up on project tasks and activities. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in project management and to assist in ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the PMO team.
  • Organizing and scheduling project meetings: Setting up meetings, sending out invitations, and ensuring that all necessary participants are informed and available.
  • Maintaining project documentation and records: This involves keeping track of all project-related documents, ensuring they are up-to-date, and accessible to team members.
  • Preparing project status reports: Assisting in the creation of reports that summarize the progress of various projects, highlighting any issues or delays.
  • Following up with different stakeholders on task completion and deadlines: Ensuring that stakeholders are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines and checking in with them to confirm that tasks are being completed on time.
  • Supporting the preparation of reports and assisting in meetings: Helping to prepare reports for executive leadership and assisting in meetings by taking notes, preparing agendas, and ensuring that all necessary materials are available. These tasks help ensure that the PMO team operates smoothly and that projects are delivered on time and within scope.

What we’re looking for

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
